I was nervous at first because all I could think of was the movie along came polly where jennifer took ben stiller to the indian place and his stomach got upset and he had the shits real bad. Well so far I'm good. No crazy sweating or upset stomach or running to the bathroom. Which is good right now because there's no shiters on the highway. That would suck. Will and I were deciding to go to legoland but they only give military 10% off. And the ticket was 65 dollars. That's way to much money right now. Maybe next time. So now we are heading back to yuma. I have work in the morning and I gotta drive his ass back to phoenix tomorrow night. Cali was fun and definitly cooler in temperature n a thought of some day moving there. But the prices of life living here might be to high.
That was about a half hour ride to their base and a half hour ride to sea world. We go to sea world around 7ish. N got in for free for being military. That was awesome. We saw shamu and the sea lion show. It was fun to hang out with some friends we haven't seen in awhile. We dropped them back off to base because they both had to work at 3pm Sunday. Will and I crashed out again at our hotel. We have just gotten so tired due to the traveling and nonstop going. Sunday (today) we got up around 1130 and were gonna go to the downtown pancake resturant in san diego. We found it easily but there was a huge ass line out the door. So no pancakes for us. We parked and found a uso which is really weird to find in the middle of the city. They gave us a few ideas of where to eat. 4th street is the st wit all the food and shops on it. We were gonna go to the hard rock cafe. But instead we stopped at this indian resturant. I never had indian food so I had to try it.
Will and I are now on our way back to yuma from san diego. We had a blast. I picked him up on Thursday in phoenix. That ride was crazy long. Almost three hours. And prior to that I had to go into work at 0600 and I left later than planned at 730. I was late picking him up but that was ok. We went back to base and got a hotel room and crashed out. Friday we hung out with a cpl and sgt from my shop. We chilled around for a bit and then around 11pm to 12 we headed to a strip club. A full nude one. My first strip club ever. It was quite interesting. One of the girls there asked me to apply for a job. Haha... well my sgt said id get in to some trouble if someone caught me there... I don't think that will be a career choice any time soon. Saturday we were behind schedual to drive to san diego. We had a few errands to run before leaving town. We didn't get to san diego until about 4ish. Then we had to head to camp pendleton to pick up our friends trejo and pintor.

So here's the car I am currently on my way to go look at. Its an 2005 mitsubishi lancer ralliart. It was owned by one person and he's an older gentleman so it should be in perfect condition. I'm so excited to go look at this car. I fell in love with it the minute I saw it. So hopefully ill come home with it.

24 hour post

so here i am on duty at the squadron on the lovely friday afternoon. i have about 20 more hours to go until my weekend starts. but i will most likely be sleeping my weekend away. theres not much to do here in az anyways so im not missing out on much anyways.
I bet you are all wondering what I've been up to for that last three weeks that I've been here. Well here's the scoop

I flew out of manchester on june 24 at 525 in the morning. There was like 3 stop overs and it took me 12 hrs to get to yuma. I was going nuts. And the flight into phoenix and yuma sucked so bad bc of the mountains so there was so much terbuliance and I was getting sick to my stomach. And the flying caused my ears to be blocked for over a week it sucked.

Well we got here and checked in on june 25 with my temp squadron vma 513. It took us about 2 weeks to check in everywhere. We had to get our gear and put in travel claims and get meal cards.. the whole 9 yards that most of u wouldn't understand what I am talking about.

After all the checking in I started working with my shop doing my job. And its actually not as bad as I thought. I've been jacking up aircrafts servicing them taking off panels and for the last week I've been painting. So my hours have changed instead of going into work at 630 am to 5pm I was in at 2 am to about 630am. But I haven't been getting much sleep before or after... my sleep schedual got all messed up. N my roommate kept waking me up at 11 when she'd come in the room during her chow breaks.

On wed I had the gas chamber... not as bad as I thought it was just long classes that were boring and tiring... and it was so hot outside and we were dressed in full MOPP gear. Which is a suit that protects ur skin from poisionous vapors or liquids. And its really hot wearing it to walk all the way down to the chamber. It was fun..

Thrusday when I went into work at two in the morning I did something for the first time.. it was like 300am and my corporal asked me if I have ever tried dip before. I have but the pouch did not the realy stuff and I didnt like it then. But I tried the real stuff to try something new. Mint flavor. Well let's just say its pretty nasty and I won't be doing that n e time soon. It made me so dizzy and kinda gave me an upset stomach. So that lasted all but 5 to 10 minutes. My two corporals got a kick outta it. It was an interesting eperience.

Well right now I'm on duty trying not to drive myself completely crazy. All I do is sit here and answer the phone and look pretty. Not a bad job. It would be better if it was Thursday instead bc I would have Friday off and a long ass weekend but I'm not that luck :-(.

But so far yuma is not that bad. I've been meeting a lot of interesting ppl both at work and at my barracks. Everyone no matter their rank is pretty chill. U have ur few assholes but what place doesn't. Like I said there's not much to do here and unless u go about 2 to 3 hours away to san diego or phoenix. And right now I don't have a car so there's really not muh I can do.

But on the other hand some really exciting news is that my boyfriend william will be here on the 23 which is a Thursday I believe. I can't wait bc its been over a month since I've seen him. OH n some more big news that I found out about two weeks ago. The squadron that I'm originally in (vma 211) will be deploying in april 2010 to afgahastan. I'm am totally excited and hopefully ill be able to go. Ill be banking when I come back. Ill def post some updates on here if I get anymore info.

Well that's all I have for now. If there's n e thing else ill post again. N I kno I really need to get ontop of this blogging thing but I'm currently with out internet n a computer. So I'm trying my best.
